While Archaeology was released only as a CD throughout most of the world, the album was also issued on vinyl in the U.K.

The album is well-mastered, pressed on thick stock, and features a full color inner sleeve (which unfortunately does not reproduce the lyrics) and a custom photo label (which continues the odd trend of omitting track information on LP labels).
